If you want to choose a default sound device, or change a application for use other sound device, using pulse audio, you can do this with the follow commands:

• padevchooser – after run this, a systray icon appears, and then choose “Volume Control”, then you can change the sound card from applications
• pavucontrol – is the pulse audio “Volume Control”
• paprefs – pulse audio preferences
• paman and pavumeter – pulse audio manager and audio meter

If you want same output to all sound devices, in paprefs, choose “Simultaneos Output” and check the option “Add virtual output device for simultaneos output on all local sound cards”.
